I've used the Peavey Escort going back 4-5 many it really works very well for smaller gigs and exercise sessions, indoors and outdoors. This can not, however, deliver enough punch to chop with the noise of the crowded bar - in the event that's your venue, then consider another thing!
Used to do have trouble with feedback (despite the EQ adjustments) with certain instruments but it was eliminated using a pre-amp. The microphone would be a pleasant surprise - I was expecting it could be cheap however it delivers and it is definitely a keeper.
Overall, this can be a high quality item because of its size: durable, extremely portable and creates easily. Well, this sound system is simply perfect, it has a really high sound quality, the included microphone is really good, the speakers sound great, it takes less than 10 minutes to have it ready for the show. I'm really happy with it, I use it to play in weddings or restaurants. It's a trully good choice!!
